Simon Cowell, The X Factor boss has managed to come up with a yet another new reality TV genre quiz show. ITV1 will be featuring this lottery/roulette game style live game show. The pilot of this live game show will be filmed in the month of June by ITV. The show is codenamed as “Roulette” and for this, Simon Cowell, the not so old 51 year old famous star, has roped in his old pals Ant and Dec who hosts Britain’s Got Talent also to present this show on ITV1.
The Sun newspaper has quoted this show as one of the most ambitious shows that has been ever staged in Television history. It also stated that it is a huge gamble for Simon Cowell. If it flops it could hit his TV carrier. But if it manages to do well, it would lift Simon to an unimaginable level in TV. Even though the main details are still under wraps, the main idea of this game show would be to make people pay a meager amount of 1 Euro for buying a ticket. Nearly 17,000 Britons would be made to pay the amount so that they will have the chance of winning huge prize money of nearly 1 million Euros.
The TV bosses plan to convert this event into a summer television event which will last for one weekend or even more than that, if the pilot game show succeeds. The comments of Simon Cowell can make you like or hate him. There is no doubt that he is a real TV genius but some of the contestants of his shows might not love to hear his satirical comments.
If you were singing like this two thousand years ago, people would have stoned you.
Zero for effort, zero for style, zero for star quality, and you know what: I’m being generous.
You sound like a cat in a vacuum cleaner – dreadful!
