Street bets / Line bets: Bets can be placed on three numbers in a single horizontal line. To make this bet, players place their chips on the edge of that line.

Corner bet: Also known as a square bet, this bet is placed on four numbers that are in a square in the layout of the table. The chips are placed in the centre of these numbers where the lines intersect.

Basket bet: This bet is placed on the 5 numbers 1-2-3-0-00. This is an American roulette bet.

Outside bets

These are bets that can be placed in areas that are marked out side the columns of numbers marked in the center of the table.

Red Black: bets can be placed on the color that may win

Odd even: there are special areas marked out for the odd or even bets. Players can place their chips on either of these words.

Dozen bets: 12 consecutive numbers can be bet on. There is an area that marks this bet and chips are placed here to make the bet. The bets can be made on the choices of dozen number groups divided as 1-12, 13-24 and 25-36

Column bets: these bets are also placed on a dozen numbers but the dozen consists of the numbers in the three vertical columns of numbers. The chips are placed at the bottom of the column to mark the bet.
